Practice what you Preach

I grew up listening to Barry White - Practice what you Preach, it is a very good song for romantics and just  before I lose you, am not going to romanticise.

Very few can argue that the most effective way to teach , mentor or set things in motion, is by acting out or doing exactly what you want your learner or mentee to learn.

Imagine if instead of the President talking about setting up a battery plant that might take 5 to 10 years to actualize, started cycling to work rather than be driven and escorted by carbon emitting vehicles. The strong signal would be set; we are practical and are taking immediate to going green and today were associative behavior is more prone, Ministers and Government officials would follow suite, in a very short space of time the number of carbon emitting vehicles would reduce on the streets.

Imagine Priests, Bishops, Reverends, Pastors, and Evangelists who lived their sermons rather than exerting an imaginable energy and charisma to get through a message they hardly believe in.

Imagine if we had Parents, Elder siblings that lived their lives the way they wanted their children to live as opposed to living irresponsible and carefree lives and expect children to live careful and responsible lives.

I can only image.

Just Like Barry White says here I am baby Practice what you preach
